Governor Palin's Address To The 2009 Special Olympics In Boise, Idaho
Gov. Sarah Palin address to the Special Olympics 2009 in Boise, Idaho, talking about special needs children.
Very cute video with Trig and Piper.
The video is a few weeks old, but wasn't online until now.
Too Pretty? Oh C’mon!
From ConservativeAmericanOne of the most annoying things about liberals is their hypocrisy. It drives me crazy how they can consistently say one thing, then do another or have one opinion on an issue when a democrat is involved and another when a republican is involved. This story is a perfect example of the absolute rubbish the left spews unanswered by the power of the press.
Now they say Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was too pretty!!
It was okay for them to talk about what a hunk Obama was, with his abs and swimsuit in Hawaii. Being good looking helped him. It was a good thing (see: With Obama, Sexism is Okay) . He was smart AND good looking! Amazing.
And what about the younger and more fit Billy Bob Clinton? Remember all the stories about how women thought he was so good looking? We were told he had strong support from women voters because he was handsome. That was okay then.
Whatever happened to what is good for the goose is good for the gander?

Even the candidacy of Dick Gephart of Missouri was given more credence because they said he looked like Robert Redford. I seem to remember people talking about how handsome JFK was too. So, for guys it is okay to be good looking and talk about it.
However, for Sarah Palin, you cannot talk about her beauty (see: Palin is Hot, Clinton is Not.)
Now, Jim Galloway at the Atlanta Journal reports on a recent study:
“…published in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology…with Jamie Goldenberg, an associate professor over at USF who co-authored the article with Nathan Heflick. The two researchers had theorized a correlation between looks and competence. “We were shocked that we got any movement on the voting,” Goldenberg said Thursday. “It didn’t affect Democrats. They were all going to vote for Obama no matter what.”
Stop the tape! Stop the tape. Wait just a minute! So, did either Heflick or Goldenberg bother to stop and think (just for a tiny moment) that the Democrats ONLY voted for Obama because of his looks? This guy clearly won ONLY because of his partially-black LOOKS!! These bafoon jealous-women researches don’t point that out though! Democrats are “ABOVE” that!! Give me a freakin’ break. These two liberal nut jobs say a person’s appearance ONLY effected republicans and independents. Gag. Okay, roll the tape…
“It was only Republicans and independents who were moved.” Basically, the students were asked to write about each woman — whether about her accomplishments as a person, or about her looks. “What we found is that in both cases, whether they wrote about Palin or Angelina Jolie,…”
Stop the tape! Stop the darn tape! Angelina Jolie? Brangelina? Uhm, excuse me, but did she or it run for anything? Is she a politician now? They lump her lumps in with Sarah Palin?! These people are pathetic. Roll the tape, let’s get this over with.
“…when they wrote about her appearance rather than the person, they evaluated her to be less competent, less fully human. And in the case of the Palin prime, they were less likely to vote for the McCain-Palin ticket,” Goldenberg said.”
Less than fully human?? So these idiot college types think Sarah Palin is “less fully human?!!” So, is Sarah Palin an alien? Is she from some pretty planet where all the pretty people come from? What kind of absolute nonsense is this, that it gets national media coverage? So, now Obama 2012 wants you to think Palin is “less than fully human.”
ConservativeAmerican.org believes Sarah Palin is, in fact, pretty. But too pretty? Oh C’mon!
Obama rewards Troopergate Chairman
The Above Alaska elected officials Supported Obama’s campaign for president:
State Senators (8)Bettye Davis,
Anchorage Johnny Ellis,
Anchorage Kim Elton,
Juneau, Hollis French,
Anchorage, Lyman Hoffman,
Bethel Albert, Kookesh,
Angoon Joe Thomas, Fairbanks
Bill Wielechowski, Anchorage
Remember the Troopergate scandal and how Sarah Palin released damning information against the political hacks behind the Troopergate investigation.
The documents included:
12/9/07: Monegan holds a press conference with Hollis French to push his own budget plan.
1/29/08: Palin’s staffers have to rework their procedures to keep Monegan from bypassing normal channels for budget requests.
February 2008: Monegan publicly releases a letter he wrote to Palin supporting a project she vetoed.
June 26, 2008: Monegan bypassed the governor’s office entirely and contacted Alaska’s Congressional delegation to gain funding for a project
From BostonHerald
Surprise. Surprise. President Barack Obama has done a nationwide search and appointed the Chairman of the Troopergate investigation as Director of Alaskan Affairs at the Interior Department. Is this a case of political payback for a smear job well done on Governor Sarah Palin??? Yes!
On March 2, 2009 State Senator Kim Elton, who was the Chairman of the Legislative Council investigating Troopergate, resigned to take an appointment at the Interior Department.
Maybe it is Elton who should be investigated for misuse of the Legislative Council.
Elton is a long-time friend of Pete Rouse, who was Senator Obama’s chief of staff and campaign advisor. (Rouse currently serves in the White House as a Senior Advisor.) According to CNN reports after Governor Sarah Palin was selected for the GOP ticket, the Obama campaign contacted the PSEA Union that represented Trooper Wooten and filed the phony complaint against her.
The connection between Elton and the Obama campaign should have served as a warning sign, but the liberal media wanted Palin’s scalp so they overlooked the relationship.
On several occasions Freedom of Information Requests were filed for emails, phone logs and other communications between the Obama campaign and Senator Elton. They were refused on the claim that FOIAs do not apply to legislators. Why not disclose all information in order to make the investigation legitimate? Because Elton had no intention of being impartial.
In fact, his investigation became so politically charged that 5 state legislators filed suit against the Chairman, Senator Hollis French, and the Democrats’ handpicked investigator, Stephen Branchflower.
In an attempt to restore impartiality to the proceedings, Alaska’s Speaker of the House, John Harris requested a special meeting with the Legislative Council, but his request was refused.
Elton continued on his witch hunt to destroy Palin by allowing the investigator to write the report before witnesses were even interviewed, misconstrue certain evidence and disregard evidence that was helpful to Palin.
Minutes after the Branchflower Report was publicly released, Elton told the Anchorage Daily News that perhaps people will know how to vote in November.
Furthermore, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, Senator Elton donated $2250 to the Obama campaign. Clearly, Elton was vested in the outcome of the Presidential race and played smear politics with Governor Palin’s reputation in order to help sway the election.
So much for Obama’s change politics. It is dirty politics as usual.
